Delivery/Ts&Cs

Delivery

Most smaller items that we can send by post (pots/stands/ceramics /glassware) will incur a £3.95 postage fee. Please click the small parcel option at checkout.

For all other items, please contact us first before ordering.

For larger items to UK addresses, you can click the Standard UK £60 courier option at checkout. This is the standard charge by our couriers.

However prices do vary subject to size of item/number of items/delivery address, hence there may be additional costs which we will confirm before purchase with you. These can be paid directly to our couriers on delivery.

You may also collect from NE13 7BA, or organise your own courier if you wish, of course.

We can normally deliver within 7 working days, although this has changed recently due to Covid restrictions.

For European/worldwide/heavy deliveries you will need to contact us for a delivery cost either before or after purchase. The standard option on the website is just a guide as per the guidelines above

Delivery cost (in full or in part) can be paid at checkout, by paypal or BACS transfer, and direct to our couriers. Please contact us to discuss.

Ts&Cs

Returns

We operate a 14 day return policy on all items. Please inform us within 24 hours if there is any damage/problem with the item, and please return within 14 days. You are responsible for any return shipping costs. Almost all of our items are vintage so will show signs of wear/use so please do not expect a pristine/perfect item. We endeavour to send everything out in the best possible condition and can provide additional photos/details of condition if required.

Honesty is the best policy

We truly endeavour to send out all our items in the best possible condition given their vintage status, and we are proud of the workmanship and attention to detail that goes into our restoration. However, please do not expect a perfect or pristine item, as most of our stock dates from the 50s-70s. There will normally be some signs of wear and tear commensurate with age, but we think this adds to the charm, and we don't send out the things we work on with horribly chipped veneer or water marks.

Some of our upholstered items are sold without fire tags, so these are sold as upholstery projects and are not intended for immediate use in the home. This will be stated on the listing and must be adhered to. Items that we have restored and had reupholstered are always to correct FR regs.

All the information that we pop onto our pages is genuinely to the best of our knowledge. We work hard to ensure items are properly attributed and that we impart as much knowledge as possible. We are pretty well-versed by now, but by no means the leading experts on every facet of mid-century living, so there may be the odd discrepancy now and again. But believe us, it's not intentional.
