We are delighted to have another of these Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard-Nielsen FD453 daybeds in stock. Produced by France and Daverkosen in the 1960s.

The frame is sensational and the cane arm panels are in excellent condition. A quite exceptional piece of mid-century modern furniture. One of our very favourite pieces by our favourite Danish design duo. 

We especially love the contrast of teak frame and lighter canework arm panels. 

We have refinished it in a sustainable and fully biodegradable wool and flax seed fabric, in this fabulously rich green. The texture of the fabric is lovely to the touch, and the top stitch finish to the cushions is minimalist and in keeping with the style of sofa. Please DM if you require any further details.
